BEST SELLERS
We would like to highlight some of our favorite newer to the market annuals. We have chosen these varieties because of their amazing summer performance. You cannot go wrong with one of these items. They flower like crazy from spring until the first frost of fall.
GOMPHRENA
Gomphrena is an annual that has been around for a long time but has recently gained popularity amongst the home gardeners. It is a heat and sun loving plant, also deer resistant. It is very versatile for your flower beds or your containers. We grow several varieties, Ping Pong lavender, mix, and purple, Pinball Purple, and even Proven Winner has a tall one now called Trufalla.
CANNA CANNOVA
Another favorite here is Canna Cannova. This comes in a large variety of colors and we are sure will not disappoint. If you are familiar with the traditional canna you would know it is not disease resistant. That is the great thing about Cannova. It is not from a tuber like a traditional canna, it is from seed so it will not succumb to the viruses harbored in the tuber like the old cannas. It is tall. Can reach up to 6 feet tall by the end of summer. It is great for in your landscaping or in your containers. It can grow great in sun or shade.
SUNPATIEN
Another new favorite for the home gardener and landscaper is the Sunpatien. This is an impatien that can tolerate full sun. This plant comes in a large range of colors and is stunning in both the landscape and containers. It can also tolerate sun or shade. It is very forgiving and gives vibrant color all summer long.
BIG BEGONIA
Last but certainly not least is the Big Begonia. They live up to their name! In the flat they look like the traditional wax leaf begonia, but don’t be fooled these guys are BIG! They flower prolifically all summer long. We have had some here in our landscape that have reached waste high. They really are bang for your buck. They are beautiful in landscape and containers and can be planted in sun or shade.
